Stop wasting resources on terrible solutions (That means you C@P))

Over the last 6 years the Lake Echo C@P site received very little funding, just enough to do minor upgrades to the ancient computers.
Oddly, late last year they decided that they would drop a $7000 server into the Lake Echo location. They decided for some reason that by setting up the C@P site in such a way that the five computers basically use the server as a hard drive instead of using their local drive. $7000 for a hard drive is ridiculous considering a nice 250gb hdd (all that these computers would ever need) comes in at around $50. Furthermore this new 'solution' does not address the rest of the computer's hardware.
Now the other huge problem is that this creates a huge amount of traffic on the network. This would have been fine if they also upgraded the network, but by keeping the same router to deal with the massive amount of traffic you'll be lucky to connect to google.com, let alone streaming video.
